Belgo: Mussels and Other Belgian Specialities Belgo Centraal (Covent Garden) Review

The restaurant is cavernous. You enter on street level and then go down a flight of stairs to the dining hall. Service is quick and their selection of beers is amazing!

Favorite Dish: They currently have a "Beat the Clock" promotion. You pay what the clock says when your order is turned in, from 5:00 to 6:30 M-F. A very good deal!!

Fryer's Delight: Execllent Fish n Chips Fryer's Delight, Holborn Review

This place is always included on the Best Fish n Chips in London. There's not much atmosphere and only 6 tables, but you come here for the fish. Portions are large. It's cheaper to "take away" and there is a park (Red Lion Square) a couple of blocks away if the weather is mild.

Black Friar Pub: Good Beer With Great Atmosphere Black Friar pub Review

It was built in 1875 near the site of a thirteenth century Dominican Priory, which gives the area its name and was the inspiration for the pubs design. Dark interior makes it seem older than it really is. The marble and copper reliefs depict friars doing all kinds of day-to-day tasks.
