| | This is a high-energy city where you can see a lot of cross-cultural living. On one hand it's very definitely South American with its Spanish spoken with the River Plate accent. On the other hand there is an unmistakable European imprint in the attitudes and customs of the people.
There are so many things to see, do and eat here that you won't do it all, no matter how long you stay. My family and I spent a full week in Buenos Aires alone and we felt like we had only scratched the surface. On this intro. page I've posted a few photos of everyday street scenes to give you a feel of life in this expansive city. I'm including several more in my travelogue and hope you'll take a look at them as well. |
