Historic Area and Surrounding Valley

Gaiman makes for a nice side trip from the Trelew/Puero Madryn area. It is about 10 miles West of Trelew along Highway 25. This area was populated by Welsh immigrants in the 1880's. There are still some individuals who speak Welsh and preserve their ancestor's traditions. The old buildings and small museums can easily be seen in half a day. The Welsh tea houses make for a memorable resting activity in the afternoon.
