As the name indicates, this was originally a port city and has now grown to be the largest city near the Valdes Penninsula. There are many hotels, restaurants, tour companies, and everything else a tourist would likely need.
The main drag parallel to the coast is Ave. Julio A. Roca. The area near the water is laid out in a grid pattern so it's not difficult to drive around, but be careful, there are a lot of one-way streets. |
