Charming Lakeside Discovery I stopped off in Lazise on a tour of Lake Garda by bus and by boat. It was my first time in this quiet, sleepy, lakeside town and the short visit left me thirsty for more.
As with many of the small towns beside the lake, Lazise is walled and fronted by a Castle. The streets are cobbled, tiny, and narrow, traffic is limited within the castle walls, and the buildings are made of stone and several centuries old. |
| | Paradise for Birds The town is quiet and the ones making the most noise (apart from the tourists) were the birds that seem to be waiting pierside for "their" ferry to arrive.
I got some wonderful bird pics, but this is my favourite. |
