Pack Your Most Glamorous Things.

Luggage and bags: Designer only! If you don't, everyone will look down on you and restaurants will only allow you admission if they're empty (and, even then, only after subtly glaring at you). I am quite serious about this (although I know it sounds a little odd).

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: OK, the basic dress code in the Puerto Banus/Marbella area is designer glam. Do not attempt to wear your discount store cheapies - you'll feel the disdainful stares. If you can't afford originals, there are extremely good fakes available to buy from the street traders. Mine are all originals, but I can safely say that most of the fakes are of pretty good quality and hard enough to spot.

In the evenings people dress up in their finest and parade up and down the strip, looking and hoping to be looked at. Sports cars cruise up and down but after a while you realise that's it's the same cars over and over, just seeking attention.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: You'll get everything you need here, so don't worry about packing these - other than your regular essential medication.

Photo Equipment: There's not a huge amount to photograph within the resort, unless you like taking pics of yachts and collagened lips! In other words, not too much need to pack extra memory for the camera.
