The restaurant is large, busy, and bustling - full of smiling, happy people. Having eaten there it's easy to see why.

The efficient waiter knew it was our first time there and waved the menu aside. Plates of delicious typically Indian food appeared from everywhere - melt-in-the-mouth pieces of lamb, delectable Tandoori chicken portions, lentils, creamy yoghurt, plates of vegetables - delightful battered cauliflower, potatoes, crunchy red onion; then delightful poppas and delicious naan bread.

We ate with our fingers and washed the food down with drinks from brass cups.

It is said that this is former President Clinton's favourite Indian restaurant, and I can see why.

The down side of the place is that you are waiting forever to be seated - it is one of the worst places I have ever been in this regard.

Also, the dress code is quite casual - given that it was billed as Clinton's favourite restaurant I expected something more snazzy. casual is great by me, I just wish I hadn't dressed like a princess, lol:-)

Favorite Dish: Forget the menu and let the waiters treat you to their suggestion - it worked for us.
