I am passionate about this area of SOUTH LAZIO.

Particularly about the provinces of LATINA and FROSINONE.

We came here on holiday several years ago and fell hopelessly in love with this region. It has so much in its favour.

In fact we liked it so much that this was where we chose to start our new life in Italy.

We have been living here, in the small mountain community of Itri for over 3 years now.

This beautiful mountainous, coastal region is situated midway between Rome and Naples.

This area is rich in history, architecture, culture and natural beauty

and is noted for its temperate climate, and rainless summers.

It is blessed with the best of both worlds :

The beautiful coastline of the Riviera Di Ulisse, and Gulf of Gaeta

with its numerous golden sandy beaches, rocky coves, hidden caves and sheltered harbours,

and the pretty seaside resorts of Sperlonga, Gaeta, Formia and Terracina.


Yet close by are the dramatic mountains of the Aurunci Regional Park, the Ausoni Mountains, the Lepini Mountains and further inland Le Mainarde Mountains,

with their verdant hillsides, olive groves, lakes and protected nature reserves.

This is “Real Italy” !!!
