I've gotten to learn so much about Scandinavia and the Nordic countries and really love them. The culture, the sights, the people...it's really fantastic.

I have to say though -- Sweden is definitely the most gorgeous of them all, and if one can travel to only one country of all of the Nordic north, make it Sweden!

So far of the five Nordic countries, I've visited four of the five Nordic countries: Sweden (several times!), Denmark (twice), Norway (once), and Iceland (once). I suppose now that I live in Sweden, that one should be changed to 'permament'. :) If Åland counts as a country, then I've been there as well. ;)

I have added many tips recently. I have been trying to see more in Stockholm now that I live here, thus more tips for Stockholm have been coming up.

I particularly want to expand my tips on Kristinehamn, Karlstad, and Göteborg (all in Sweden), all of which I have seen quite a bit of. Then I want to work on Malmö as well as a bit more on Oslo and Copenhagen. Oh, and Åland as well...I have many things for it!

We recently went to Denmark by car for just a couple days and explored the areas around Copenhagen, so I have to add tips for that trip too. I still haven't added my Åland tips even, even though that was many months ago, so I really have to get started...the backlog is growing!

Maybe after that even add more tips to other places I've visited?

I moved to Sweden in September 2006 -- so expect lots of within-country (and nearby-country) travels!

Travel-wise, the next place I wish to visit is the Faroe Islands. There are no plans or anything yet, so right now it's just a wish -- but I hope we get to visit sooner rather than later! After the Faroes, I'd be tempted to say Svalbard would come next, but I'm scared my boyfriend would kill me if I suggested going that far north, as my only suggestions seem to involve cold places.

The only truly planned trip we have right now is a quick one to Helsingfors, Finland in May 2007!

Update: we will be going to Portugal in summer 2007! The Faroes trip will have to be delayed for now... maybe next year?
