I visited Barrie once. There was a carnival that day. I had the most wonderful day, full of activity! I went back about a year later. There was not much happening, but tranquility walking along the water. I had a wonderful restful day. I enjoyed both my visits for apposing reasons. Either way, it is worth visiting this town. I plan to visit again! |
Barrie's waterfront is considered the heart of the city's tourism industry. The population is about 150 thousand. During tourist season, this can triple! |
The travelogue albums below are not of Barrie but Toronto. I use the Barrie pages as I reached my limit for Toronto. |

luckyzen Sat Jul 8, 2006 18:23 UTC Great new updates, Martin. Remember the Old Atrium in Cape Town? They have upgraded it to a Sports Centre. A great way to watch the game, up your way! 'njoy the next game! | mtncorg Wed Jul 5, 2006 00:29 UTC So what happens around here if something really big in the sports world comes off ... say, like the Leafs making it to the Playoffs?! ;-] |
