Writing about Niagara Falls is not easy. Explaining why it is not easy, is not as hard to explain. Simply put, there is so much to do, where does one even begin writing? Whenever I have taken out-of-town visitors, they invariably ask the same question: Will we be able to do everything there? I always explain: No we wont. There is so much to do, that to cover everything in one day, is not humanly possible.
I have an ambition and that is to spend a weekend at Niagara Falls and work my way through every attraction possible. One really needs a few days to go through everything. In fact, each time I visited, I discovered something new. I should also mention that there is constant l construction. That means that each time I think I know everything, I discover that there is something new. |
| My Uncle and Aunt enjoying Niagara Falls |
| | TOURISTS FROM FAR AWAY My Uncle and Aunt visited Toronto from their city Pretoria in South Africa. I took them to Niagara Falls for the day. They had the most wonderful day. A few times afterwards, my aunt mentioned that she had such a wonderful day, that she was sorry that it had to end. All I can say is that visiting Niagara Falls with such nice people makes it even better!
I have only been to Niagara Falls once since purchasing my digital camera. That is when I took my uncle and aunt. That is why they are so copious in my Niagara Falls pages! Back to my homepage: Back to my Homepage |
| | extremely aMOOSing. While browsing a curio shop, my uncle visited the washroom. Upon returning, he said to me "Come into the men's washroom, I want to show you something." I went in not knowing what to expect. He proceeded to show me something extremely amusing. Standing by the mens' facilities was a vertical stuffed moose! (I guess even a moose needs to go sometimes!) We thought it extremely funny! I requested taking his picture with the moose as evidence. Please enjoy it. I call it "The Uncle and the Moose!" BEHOLD!! If you want a better view, click to enlarge. |

balhannah Tue Apr 7, 2009 12:39 UTC We have a Dam near the Gold Coast where you walk in a tunnel and can watch the water thundering over infront of you, its an incredible experience. I also fell in love with the Beluga's, they are like big white marshmallows! | haiamisa Sun Mar 25, 2007 17:37 UTC Great information about your Carillon experience, definitely off the beaten path.
