I had a wonderful holiday

by Martman - last update: Feb 25, 2006

Tel-Aviv is considered the largest city in Israel. Certainly, walking through the streets, there is always activity.

The city is a combination of entertainment, shopping malls, exotic markets, nonstop active nightlife, gorgeous golden beaches and wonderful restaurants of all kinds.

It is also the country's greatest cultural center and is the host to many museums, galleries, theatres and concert halls.

Tel-Aviv grew out of the port city of Jaffa. Jaffa is considered Old Tel-Aviv and is more medieval in appearance.
Visiting a friend in his Tel-Aviv apartment
Generally, the standard of living here is not high, but increasing. This is a first world country and technologically extremely advanced. The actual person-in-the-street still struggles to earn a good living. Tiny apartments cost huge sums of money. It was easier for my friend as he was sharing with a few other people.

Martin, Very cute story. I am thinking of meeting a friend in Israel while I am in Europe. Will have to remember about the rolls.
