Another reason made this holiday unique for me. Upon returning to Toronto, it was the first and only time I have been searched at customs. I was not worried, as I knew that I had nothing to declare. Hey, there must be a first time with everything! |
| | Lucky me; free donut! I have one interesting story from my holiday in Nassau. While walking through the city, I spotted a donut shop. I do not remember the name. I walked in and then asked for a particular donut. The lady said, “This is your lucky day, it is for free.” I thanked her and enjoyed my complimentary. I am still curious why she gave it to me for free? Perhaps she had a fight with the boss? Perhaps the cash register was not fixed yet? Whatever the reason, I was honored and consequently had a great day!
Maybe one day, I will be just as lucky when I next buy a car!!! |
