Upcoming Trip I'm thinking of going to Ecuador around the end of May. Any thoughts and/or suggestions? |
December 2004 Trip Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia
Left the U.S. for Bangkok: mid-December.
Went to Kanchanaburi for a few days.
Back to Bangkok for 2 days, then an overnight train to Chiang Mai.
Hung out in Chiang Mai for a day, then went on a 3-day hilltribe trek.
Back to Chiang Mai, then to Chiang Khong.
Crossed over to Laos to take the boat trip down the Mekong River to Pak Beng.
Continued on the boat to the Pak Ou Caves, then to Luang Prabang.
Hung out there for a few days.
From Luang Prabang to Vientiane.
Hung out in Vientiane for a day.
Back over the border to Thailand and an overnight train to Bangkok.
To Siem Reap for a few days.
Beginning of January: back to the U.S. |
