|  | Maria Hoop In the Annendaals bos near Maria Hoop I was fortunate to arrive at this shrine as the early morning sunshine was beginning to burst through the November mist. The setting, tranquility and light created a unique atmosphere for a moment of thought. |
| | d. Hoek and Spijkerman Thanks to Ellen and Gerard for a wonderful time at Maria Hoop. Warming fires, great conversation, good beer and many laughs. A special mention must be made of the local Spanish restaurant just across the border in Germany. The in-house Mexican guitarist/singer was memorable for his unique style and sheer boldness! His repartee and jokes may not be everyone's taste. |
