    • The most famous and well-visited castle in Germany. Kind Ludwig's castle. He only managed to stay here for barely 173 days!

    The path to the castle is a difficult one during winter and especially if it is snowing. The pathway is mixed with shugs of snow! Disgusting! A hard climb of 45mins! Another option is to take a horse carridge.

    Exterior of the castle seems to be nicer than the interior. A complosory tour of 30mins is necessary to view the castle interior. During winter, queues are not that long.

    • Summer palace for King Ludwig II's parents. A short walk of 10 mins from the ticket centre will lead u to this castle. Yellow in colour makes this castle unescapable from any visitor.

    Interior of the castle is prettier than the exterior, mainly because this castle was used a private castle for the King and Queen.

    • Do not miss this beautiful lake that is located in the castle region.

    Took this picture during winter and it was so pretty! I guess during summer, the lake will look very captivating too!
