Largest and pretty extensive bookshop in all the Canaries.Largely second hand and the range is extensive and i particularly enjoyed finding old Agatha Christie deductive books ,long out of print in Britain and Canada,.It is also a very natural meeting point for the British community with loads of up to the minute tips and details of whats on .From Kalutra in SriLanka to Victoria B.C. the British Empires Commonwealth residue appears to live on in music halls,daffodil tea parties and jumble sales for the local needy.and this is G.H.Q. for poerta Cruz.
