| The Story Bridge and Brisbane City |
If I told you about a city that averages over 300 days of sunshine per year and 23 degrees during the winter months, you would probably name it a fairly liveable city too!
Brisbane is Australia's 3rd largest city (but fast approaching Melbourne) with 1.8 million people and is the capital of the state of Queensland. I have lived here for over 5 years now and find it an extremely relaxed city and one full of vitality. It is becoming more and more cosmopolitan every year and combined with the fantastic climate, it is a great place to live and visit.
Brisbane does not have Sydney's harbour or the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast's beaches, but Brisbane definitely holds much appeal as I hope I demonstrate in my tips. |
