The White Isle

As a DJ, Ibiza is something of a personal mecca. I went for the first time June 2003 and then I was hooked and returned again in September 2004.The White Isle is magical, beautiful, and has an energy like no other place on earth. Dancing on terraces in the sun to the best music in the world compares to nothing else. When you leave, it feels like being kicked out of paradise.

The Misfortunes

Having been twice now, I've acquired some situational knowledge about the place. I've been to most of the main spots around Ibiza town, some in San Antonio, and a few of the other beaches around the island. Even though I love it and have a wonderful time, it seems every year I've had to deal with some major calamity. The first year, we rented a villa a few miles outside of town and it was broken in to and robbed. We lost a lot of electronics, money, phones, nice clothing, and other things that were in the house. It was traumatic and to make matters worse, the owner of the villa accused us of doing it! The next year our trip was severely complicated by travel issues due to Iberian Airlines. Never fly Iberian Airlines, it is the worst airlines ever! Always late, extremely rude, and no concept of customer service whatsoever! Also, one of the best clubs, DC-10, pretty much all but shut down.

The Group

A huge part of why I love Ibiza so much is because of the group of people that I've gone with. It is made up of Americans, Brits, and Australian friends (who live in the UK). It's an amazing and really good-natured group of people and it's loads of fun bringing new faces along with us every year.

Hi, how you took the picture if cameras are not allowed? do you mean that professional cameras are not allowed but they do accept compact cameras?? I'm going next week and I really want to take some pics! Thanks
