After trying two other hotels in Venice we finally found this place. The other hotels were terrible. The first hotel we tried I got eaten alive by mosquitos as the garbage bins were right outside the window. The second hotel allowed us to shower whilst sitting on the toilet, and the towels provided were just oversized teatowels. Apart from that, the beds were so soft that the moment you sat down your seat touched the floor. So, after these terrible experiences, we were relieved to find a hotel that not only fit our budget, but was also exceedingly comfortable and close to everything!
Unique Qualities: This hotel even had German sanitary fittings, a wonderful shower and a hairdryer that worked! The rooms are decorated beautifully and each room has venetian-style light-fittings. The breakfast was more than the usual coffee and biscuit, served on tables set with ornate table cloths. We were served by a very friendly lady who seemed to be the owner. This place has a family style personality with high standards.
