Fancy some skiing?

Runcorn Ski Centre consists of two slopes, a 90 metre one and a smaller nursery slope.

Button lifts operate on both slopes and there is great emphasis on safety.

The instructors are available for private or group lessons and are friendly and helpful, they also speak English!

Unfortunately the Apres Ski is cola and Mars Bars.

Equipment: All equipment is supplied as part of the charge (see their site for details), but I do recommend that you wear a pair of strong gloves as the plastic matting is somewhat less forgiving than snow.

Directions: In Runcorrn 15 miles away. Turn left at the end of the bridge (A558) to Darebury and Warrington. After about 2 miles, turn off the expressway towards Northwich on the Central expressway (A533). Look out for Palacefields and the brown ski slope signs.
