Although I'm a Singaporean, I used to think that Singapore is a boring place. I have always been complaining that there's nothing to see here and I wanted to get out of this place and migrate somewhere

Actually, there's much to explore besides the usual places of Orchard and Sentosa. It's only the past 2 years that I have explored parts of Singapore where i have been to long long ago or never. There are really interesting places waiting to be discovered and explored. I will try to add more tips about such places whenever I have the time.

On 8 Oct 2005, I went on a tour of our local farms with a few fellow trainee teachers. It was a great and fun trip visiting several farms in the ulu northwestern part of Singapore. Seldom had such an opportunity for such visits.

During my university days, I also did long nite cycling trips around Singapore, from west up to the north, and down to town, and all the way to East Coast. I really miss those days!

This is something I still like about Singapore - the FOOD. Laksa, sambal stingray, seafood and many other stuff that I will crave for when I'm travelling overseas.
