giessen 1999. we were treated to a side-trip to limburg, reputedly the oldest town in germany. its character reminded me of belle singing "little town, what a quiet village . . ." from "beauty and the beast". old, colorful homes and buildings lean toward the streets like mushrooms and acacia trees . . .

    Hi! This looks like Limburg/Lahn, which is in Hessen, not Bavaria. It's a bit confusing that there are two villages that are called Limburg. Anyway, nice you liked it there!
