You certainly went off the beaten track in Syria...all the places I wanted to see, but never found time or transport. So the al-Haramain has gone upmarket?...they only had plastic fish in 2000!!

Aleppo is nice with its nice buildings, parks, restaurants...Damascus is nice too but more of a city feel whereas aleppo feels like a little town..
