Getting to/from Cocora

Jeeps depart Salentos main plaza for Cocora, which is about a 30 minute ride. The jeeps however only leave once they are full (usually 7 passengers) or if you pay the fair for the empty seats as well. The same applies for the return trip, though one jeep is scheduled to leave at 4pm regardless.

At Cocora, it is also possible to rent a horse to see the valley. I am not sure about the price on this, however, as we walked.

Getting to Salento is easiest done from Armenia. Just go to the bus terminal and hop on the next bus out. It is less than 1hr away.
