You can get there easily by car from Islamabad in 2 1/2 hours and from Abbottabad in just 45 minutes. In case you are on tight budget without car, then take Daewoo bus on Rawalpindi - Abbottabad route. Fare is around Rs. 120 ( US $ 2). After two hours you would be in Abbottabad . From Daewoo terminal in Abbottabad hire a Suzuki Carry. Pay Rs. 30 and ask to get a drop at Nathia Gali suzuki stop.

Suzuki Carry would take eight passengers to Nathiagali. After 75 minutes you would be in Nathia Gali. Fare is Rs. 35 per person. Follow the same tips on the way back. Take only small backpack with you coz Suzuki Carry has very limited sitting space. In local language they call it Carry Dabba.

If you have lot of luggage then hire Carry Dabba nly for yourself by paying fare of eight passengers which is Rs. 280 ( US $ 5 appox).
