Nanjing - the ancient capital Nanjing is the capital of Jiangsu Province in China.
Nanjing was once the capital of China during several historical periods. Situated in the downstream Yangtze River drainage basin and Yangtze River Delta economic zone, Nanjing has always been one of China's most important cities.
We went to Mo Chou Lake, FuZi Miao, Nanjing Chang Jiang Bridge (overlooking the Yangtze River). |

| | Fu Zhi Miao Night Market Nanjing Confucius Temple, Fuzimiao, is the holy shrine of Confucius, the great Chinese philosopher and thinker.
The temple was first built in 1034 in the Song dynasty.
It was burnt and restored for many times. In 1937, Japanese invaded Nanjing and burnt the temple into ashes.
Fu Zi Miao is a mini Nanjing Road of Shanghai. The whole area is lighted up with neon lights. There are many stall selling souveniers. A great place to take night pictures. |
