Wendy House: Wendy Guest House
  • Tip Rating:
  • Satisfaction:
  • I had a wonderful stay at Wendy House.

The rooms are clean and the receptionist are very friendly and they speak English.

Do bring extra cash to pay for the room upon checkin even though you may have given your credit card no. to guarantee the reservation.

For 700THB per room per night, they even provide you with continental breakfast (toast, fruits and coffee or tea).

Do book early as the rooms are limited.

Taxi fare from airport (include 2 tolls) is (20THB+40THB+50THB Airport Surcharge+150THB)=260THB

Unique Qualities: I simply love the location as it is just opposite MBK and 1 min walk to National Stadium BTS. If you are carrying to many shopping bags just head back to Wendy Guest House to deposit them or have a shower or drink.

They have a cold water dispenser, mini library and paid internet access.

  • Tip Rating:
  • Reno Hotel is situated at Soi Kasemson which is 1 min away from National Stadium BTS.

The standard room rate per room per night is 870THB.

You got to email them @ renohotel@clickta.com to book the room.

It is the only hotel which has a swimming pool among all the accommodation along the street.

If you are hungry, head for the nicely decorated Reno Cafe.

Asia Hotel Bangkok: Asia Hotel Bangkok
  • Tip Rating:
  • Asia Hotel is centrally located for easy access to all the business, shopping and popular attractions of Thailand's exciting capital city.

The hotel is 30 kilometers from Don Muang International Airport. Ideally situated in Bangkok's colorful shopping, business and entertainment center, the Asia Hotel has long been popular with both business travelers and tourists.

Unique Qualities: The only hotel with the BTS station attached/connected to it.

It offers excellent comfort, service and dining all at the best value in town. Amenities to make your stay enjoyable include two large swimming pools, sauna and health club. The hotel also offers a choice of four restaurants ranging from local delights and snacks to exquisite gourmet Chinese, Brazilian and Vietnamese cuisine. Free parking is provided for clients.

Is Chatuchak Market really closed? What a shame if it is real! I had the best time shopping here while in Bangkok! I was still hoping to go back to Bangkok mainly to shop there. :(
