The dining table that the food was placed on is actually old recycled sewing machine.

For 15THB, u can get a bowl of thai chedol.
the coconut milk is very tasty and juicy.

Esp when you feel very warm, just slurp down a bowl of it and you will feel very cooling.

I had a bowl at Chatuchak near the bank while queuing to exchange for $.

In Thai it's call Lod Chong. There is another mixture it's call Lod Chong Singapore. {suraphona} . I have not tried it.

Almost going to finish it but i could i not leave a pic for fellow VTers?

Birdsnest Soup: Birdsnet Soup MBK Food Court Review

Bangkok is famous for birdsnet soup.
For this trip, i did not head down to chinatown.

Found the birdsnest soup at MBK food court and selling only for 50THB a bowl. You may have it either hot or cold.

Birdsnest soup is known to be a beauty supplement. but i dont think just a bowl will help;p

Sharksfin Soup: Sharksfin Soup

I didnt know i will get such great response when i asked where can i get sharksfin soup and birdsnest soup.

If you wish to save the sharks then go for fish maw soup. anyway its the soup that is nice and the sharks fin by itself is tasteless.

If you would like to go for high quality sharksfin soup, head for Siam Square area. There are a few restaurants for u to choose from.

The famous one is Scala. Price of sharksfin soup really depends on the quality of the fin.

Cheap sharksfin soup of 150THB can be found at MBK Food Court. Chatuchak Market sells double the price at 300THB.
