Tired of shopping in hot and humid weather. Dont wish to sharpen your bargaining skills? Come to Jungceylon which is the largest shopping and leisure destination in Patong Beach. It has 4 different zone.
I brought lots of blouse which were going on sale for THB100 onwards. This is the best place to shop if you don’t like bargaining and like to shop in air-conditioning comfort. However there are no fake brands like Billabongs sold here. There is a food court we had our meal here.
Carrefour is the anchor tenant. We love to buy the roast chicken, sausages, mango for our dinner.
Zone 1: Silang Boulevard - food court, massage, botiques, sport complex, Thai art & handicraft shop and cafes.
Zone 2: The Port - Featuring Jungceylon Water Fountain in an outdoor section where the Chinese Junk Boat and the Musical Fountain light show performances are held every night.
Zone 3: Sino Phuket - lots of stalls selling clothes and I brought a few here. The restaurants will be opening soon.
Zone 4: Phuket Square - Carrefour is the anchor tenant. Robinson Department Store, bowling alley, theaters will be opening soon.
Open: 11 am till midnight daily.

Name of Shop: BIG C
Near to Central Festival are Big C and Tesco Lotus. Big C was opened on 29 November 2001.
It has a basement level with a food court. We had pad thai and western food here. They were very delicious and good value for money.
We did most of our shopping in Big C. From clothings to shoes, most are at a discounted price and cheaper than Patong fakes. Ladies top can be selling from THB79.
The top floor in Big C sells some Thai souvenirs and handmade furniture for sale. Big C also have stalls selling Thai souvenirs, wood carvings and games. You may find the souvenirs to be cheaper than those at Patong.
Open Daily from 9am to 11 pm.

Central Festival, Phuket is a one stop Tourist Center for booking tours, making airline & hotel reservations, arranging car rentals, money exchange and even a shuttle bus service.
Head for the Customer Service Counter with your passport and you can collect your 5% Tourist Privilege Discount Card.
There is a 7% Tourist VAT Refund with a minimum of THB2,000 purchase.
The anchor tenant is the popular Central Departmental Store. There are alots of restaurants offering tasty Thai cuisine and yummy Japanese, Italian, Chinese, and Western fare.
Other megastores like Supersports, Power Buy, B2S, TOPS supermarket and SFX Coliseum cineplex are housed in Central Festival.
Opens: 10.00 am - 10.00 pm everyday

Tesco Lotus is located near to Central Festival are Big C. You can find groceries and discounted item in this huge supermarket.
Lotus have stalls selling Thai souvenirs, wood carvings, games and a food court.
You may find the souvenirs to be cheaper than those at Patong.
The food court is located at Level 2. You must purchase a refundable cash card to purchase your food and drinks.

We came across both branches of Ocean Plaza in Patong Beach. First was the branch at Thaweewong Road and the other one is located in the middle of Bangla Road.
It is relatively small compared to other malls like Junceylon, Central Festival, Big C, Tesco Lotus. They do have a few level of shopping.
Brought some cosmetics and nail polishes for THB20 onwards.
What To Buy: Nail Polish THB27 each Cosmetics

Just at the basement of Ocean Plaza Thaweewong Road there is a Big One Supermarket where you can grab your drinks and tibits.
You may also buy your sun tan or sun block lotion here in case you have forgotten to pack them in your luggage.
Just outside the Supermarket is a tour operator which offer quite a competitive price for day trip to Phi Phi Island.
There is a stall selling bikinis for THB199 just outside Big One.

Carrefour is the anchor tentant of Jungceylon. We came here everyday without fail. Our shopping ranges from food, drinks, tibits, clothings, cosmetics, fruits.
We would buy some food and take it with us to watch the Junceylon Water Fountain Show at 7pm.
