Restaurant Name: La Bodega

We had our VT Meet at La Bodega at 31 Jalan Tenkat Tong Shih on 2 Sep 2006.

This place is not difficult to find as there is a lot of pubs and restaurants along this street.
They serve excellent tapas. We had chicken, mushroom, eggplant, meatball, prawns tapas. We dip the bread into the delicious sauce of the tapas.
We had Paella too.

There was live music and some of us were singing along with the singers.

Restaurant Name: The Ship

The Ship has a tagline as "The Best Steak in Town".

It was recommended by friend to visit The Ship because of its good steaks and deco.

I had the Fillet Mignon (RM35.90) and Basil had the Garlick Steak Paris (RM 34.90).
The sauce was great and the steak was very tender as we had it Medium Rare.

Our lunch was RM 80.60 including a coke and a mango juice and with all the taxes (10% + 5%).

Restaurant Name: Madam Kwan's

Madam Kwan's has 3 branches in Mid Valley Megamall, KLCC and in Bangsar.

If you are looking for a nice place to try out Malaysian local dishes, Madam Kwan is the perfect place although the prices are a bit pricey. They have all sorts of Malaysian food from their famous nasi lemak to Chinese style chicken rice to Indian style fish head curry and local desserts.

Restaurant Name: Gengki Sushi

Genki Sushi has an outlet at KLCC at level 4.

We had 10 plates of sushi and sashimi.
Love the salmon sushi with fried salmon skin and the salmon mayo with roe.
the sashimi is a bit pathetic and not that fresh.

A cup of green tea is only RM0.50 and you will just have to add you own powder to the cup and add the hot water in.

I always wonder what is the Secret Recipe in their cheese cakes?

Secret Recipe offers lots of nice cakes and pastries. If you have no idea what to order, go with any cheese cake and it will be very nice.

We had a cappaucino cheese cake and moist chocolate cake and their cheese cake defintely beats their chocolate cakes.

A slice of cake is RM5.50. The drinks cost more than the cakes.

San Francisco Coffee is a coffee chain just like Starbucks, Coffee Bean or TCC.
The cost of an Ice Hot Passion drink is RM10.45.

I have heard that San Francisco also have a steakhouse which serves quite good steaks.

We had our VT Meet Part II here over a cup of coffee or tea.

It has both indoor and outdoor seats. And there were enough seats for 11 of us. We chatted, played sudoku, solve the word puzzle and even created our own version of VT Map.
