K U K U P - fishing village | Kukup - Johor National Park |
Kukup is made up of 3 villages - Kukup Laut, Air Masin and Kampung Melayu.
Kukup is a fishing community and this place was famous for cheap and fresh seafood. (but I dont think so now) you can also buy dried fish, keropok (crackers), salted fish, belacan, chincalok from this fishing village.
The fishing village used to be built on stilt with wooden houses. Now some of the houses are built with bricks and cements. |
|  | Johor National Park Take a boat ride for RM5 and you can get to the Johor national Park.
There is an admission fee of RM5 to the park. Last entry to the park is at 4.30 pm. |
| | Boat ride to fishing village Take a boat ride which cost you RM5 per adult. The boat ride will bring you to the fishing villiage and a guide (in our case the very young boss) gave us a very educational tour of the kelong.
The guide showed us all sorts of fish on the farm and explaning to us what they are.
