Hi, I am Jen . imstress is my nickname and used to be my very first email address.
I am a Singaporean and have lived in Singapore all my life. Basil & I stay in a Housing Development Board (HDB) flat near Sentosa. Our flat is located just opposite the foot of Mount Faber . Vivo City and Sentosa is just a few bus stops away. I am working in a IT company as an Executive Assistant.

My 1st 2008 Run
SHAPE Run - 5km (33mins)
I went for the SHAPE run despite a musle pull on my right knee. Beat my personal best by a min. I think I can do better than this. :)
So what is the next run? Probably the Stand Chart run.
Should I go for 10km or half marathon?
Passion Run - 15km (2hr04mins)
I surived my very first 15 km run with a finisher medal. Despite the 2 weeks holiday where I dont have the time to train for the run , I still made it!. This was the first run that Basil signed up for and we ran together.
Looking forward to the next race which is on 20 Jul Shape Run.
Standard Chartered Run - 10km (1hr11mins)
I surived my very first 10 km run with a finisher medal. Despite having a very bad running nose the day before, I made it!. It was a tough decision whether I should risk my life to run even when I was down with flu.
After plenty of rest, I woke up at 5am feeling fine and was feeling I am up to it. I did train hard for it and not wanting to put my effort to waste and I wont know when is the next race (could be 6 mths down the road).
GE Women RUN - 5km (34 mins)
This time 4 of us ran and the two Jens joined the 5km run while G & T joined the 10 km run.
After the run we took a group pic and went for breakfast at Yakun.
SHAPE RUN 9 Sep 2007 (35 mins)
Took me about 35 mins to complete the 5 km run :) To me it is a very big accomplishment to be able to complete the race againt my personal best timing.
9 Sep 2007 - SHAPE Run - 5km (completed in 00:34:48.90 336 placing )
21 Oct 2007 - GE Women Run - 5km (completed in 34 mins)
2 Dec 2007 - Standard Chartered Run - 10 km (completed in 1hr11mins)
Thanks to you gals and not forgetting loisl who has been great encouragement to my jogging journey. You gals will know who you are ;p
