How We Got There

Molieres (pop. 294) is a small town just 5 miles from St.-Avit and was the next stop on our day trip of the bastide country SE of Bergerac. It was started as an English bastide town in 1284 but never finshed. There are some arcades still remaining. It has a smallGothic church with a wooden roof frame. The church has a defensive tower
