Ghana is a great place to visit: The people are friendly and the country has lots of culture and history.
Ghana was the first country in Africa to gain its independence from colonial rule. As a nation, Ghana is peaceful - there are no cultural clashes although there seveal tribes. In fact other West Africans migrate to Ghana.
I'm Ghanaian by decent, I've been on several family hilidays and I also went to boarding school for five years.
When Iw as younger, our vistis were purely familiy visits. When I went in year 2000, (aged 21) we did the "tourist thing". We saw some sights, went to the beach and bars.
