RED LIGHT DISTRICT

Shopping

me Shopping
If you like those little souvneirs and good shopping .. its a real nice place to do that ..

there are LOTS AND LOTS of stores .. most of them are in america as well .. its pretty nice theres so many streets for good shopping

very big on boats here ... my travel friend was looking for boats everywhere (like clubbing high boats -- but not cowboys) .. no luck in PARIS or Barcelona or Rome .. but she found loads of good ones here .. so don't sell the shopping short.
Almost like a postcard !!

My experience

Amsterdam was fantastic ... I ended up staying there a few extra nights, a total of 6 nights. The tulips weren't in full bloom but we went to kichenoff to see the garden, only 30 minutes south of Amsterdam and about 30 euros with back and forth transportation and park entrance, deffinetly worth it... even not being in full bloom it was too pretty to miss.

In amsterdam we walked around everywhere. I think I walked on every street, but the red light district is seriously a unique experience. There are pretty good clubs too, I went to a Brazalian club, nice music small place but I had alot of fun there (free for girls and cheap drinks)... then the next night we met up with some tourists and found a huge hiphop club 'Melkwey' near by the other club and for 10 euros we got into a building with 2 connecting clubs... that was crazy and lots and lots of fun (you have to like hip hop but it was great music... some songs had weird mixes but it was good all in all)

we went to the sex museum just cause it was so close to where we were staying, also very interesting. Let me just say they didn't miss a thing :) interesting stuff 3 floors high.

coffee shops and bars are not in short around the red light just have to be careful in that part ... only part of town where all the nasty men hung out and I felt a little unsafe (different from the rest of the city) ... but I guess thats understandable. The Locals I met said everyone knows its there but its mostly a tourist attraction now... and some said which I havent thought of before its a good thing the woman are there ... saves the woman that are not willing from being raped by the men that need somewhere to release their desires... so though the girls vary in look, race and age they all have a miserable look on their faces but its at least safer place for them and every one else cause of the windows.

Though the feeling of safety wasn't an issue they are very aware and there is police patrol on every street of the district walking on foot.

all in all i really enjoyed this city !! I hear Rotterdam is bueatiful with a small town feeling but I never been.

Road

This is the main road right outside the Amsterdam Central Station .. its pretty good .. can never get lost ... its right next to the red light district and coffee shops ... and takes you anywhere you want to go ..

this is the road the sex museum is on ...

i really loved this city .. if you can go i recommend it ..
Just outside the Red Light..
