There is nothing in Bekasi for a Tourist, A prefered accomodation because cheaper price of property> Rent and more quiter and peacfull then Jakarta which is less then an hour drive by bus or car and by train it take around 30 minutes to reach Central Jakarta Gambir Station.
Industrial Estate of Cikarang is also near. On my last 3 visits to Indonesia I stayed in Bekasi and felt more comfortable being far from the hustle bustle of Jakarta and its congested traffic.
