The town of Prague is fantastic!!!
Here you can see all the evolution of the architecture art: from the Romanic Style untill the Modern (Cubist) Style.
The town of Prague borns on the grouping of four town: Mala Strana (The Little Town) located under the castle; Stare Mesto (The Old Town) with its famous Old Town Square with the Astronomical Clock; Josefov (The Jewish Town) with its interesting Synagogues and the old cemetery; Nové Mesto (The New Town) with its fantastic Art Nouveau buildings and the great Wenceslas Square.
I visited the town during the Christmas time so everywhere is full of lights and Christmas trees and this give to the town a special atmosphere. During this time of the year there are many Christmas markets located in the most beautiful places of the town.

Me again, coming back once more to look at the rest of your Prague tips. Some friends of mine have just returned from Prague and they told me all about it in the pub the other night. They saw Verdi's Rigoletto in Prague at the Statni Opera. |
