WONDEFUL VENEZIA!!!! This words explain everything about this fantastic town.
I saw it many years ago and I decided to spend a full day trip moving around the town to remember all its beauty: churches, bridges, monuments etc.
Venice is an open air museum where everything is history and art!!! Whom loves it Venice is a masterpiece: you can't say to have been here if you don't see the wonderful rooms of Palazzo Ducale with its wonderful paintings made by Tintoretto, Veronese, Domenico de Palma and Tiepolo. Many of these painters worked a lot in many other palace of the town like Palazzo Labia, Ca'Rezzonico, Palazzo Treves de' Bonfilis and much more. You can see many works of them can been seen in the awesome churches located in all the town.

Nemorino Fri Aug 21, 2009 23:18 UTC Me again, coming back to look at the rest of your Things to Do tips. So much history in Venice! I didn't know Caffe' Lavena was Wagner's favorite. I once read a novel about Wagner & Verdi being in Venice at the same time & almost meeting, but not quite. | Kuznetsov_Sergey Thu Aug 13, 2009 21:04 UTC Excellent page bringing back sweet memories from far 1996 when I was there for the first and unfortunately for the last time.
