Landscape over the Seine River from the Chateau

The nice town of Les Andelys is located just 39 Km far from Rouen, in the direction to Paris.

The town is famous thanks the CHATEAU GAILLARD, a castle built in the 12th century by Richard I of England (Richard the Lionheart) to protect the Duchy of Normandy from the French king Philip II.

From the ruins of the castle you can see a wonderful landscape over the town and the Seine River.
