Le Marais: IIIrd - The cloisters of Le Marais

Favorite Thing: Don't be shy !!! When strolling around in Le Marais, you have to be courageous and pass the open doors (or portals) to discover the hidden and probably most beautiful parts of Le Marais : the cloisters set inside the old buildings. Well, if you're too shy to do so, sometimes, some open squares are former cloisters and you can enjoy their design.
Fondest Memory: During a "Music Feast" (in the whole country, on the 21st of June, everybody is allowed to play music in the streets... such a great idea !!!), a friend and I entered a party in Le Marais to which we were not invited. They just opened the door when we were fronting it for some other reasons, so, we decided to behave like guests !!! The house was unbelievable, but everybody was dancing in this huuuuuge cloister of it.... A great memory...

Favorite Thing: I can't help it : I looove this place... It would probably be different if many parisians were sharing my views over this quite peaceful place, where reading is more than a pleasure, and pretty similar to relaxing !! But, see, except from students, the place and its neighbourhood are strangely rather empty... You'll find it by strolling around the Metro station : "Bibilotheque National" on the 14th line (the purple one)..
Fondest Memory: The red carpets inside the library were quite a surprise, as nothing, from the green of the trees to the yellow of the buildings' windows, could prepare you for such a bright colour...

Favorite Thing: I should not be wrong if I say that Paris is quite full of trees boarding the nice alleys of some desert sections where tourists generally don't dear to enter... I should not be wrong either if I add that newspapers kiosque dot most of the areas... So, in sum, I'm not wrong if I say that this picture displays the typical landscape you have to look for !!!

Favorite Thing: A place I'm never fed up of walking around, a view over Paris I dislike not to enjoy, an area I love to stroll about... Montmartre is and will ever be MY symbol of Paris... The famous french "bon vivre"...
