A great place to stop for the night While driving from Houston to St. Louis for my grandmother's 90th birthday, I stopped at my cousin's in Little Rock, Arkansas for a short overnight visit. The next morning she and I went to church and then formed a two car caravan on our way to the big birthday bash!
I arrived in Little Rock in the early afternoon so that left the rest of the day and the morning of the next to do a little site seeing around the Little Rock area. My cousin gave me a driving tour of the city and we visited Clinton's Presidential Library & Museum and Central High School.
A very pleasant thing I noticed was that Little Rock has a very diverse population and a very international presence. It may very well have been just the places my cousin frequents, and not the typical Little Rock experience, but it was great to experience such an international flavor in an unexpected place. |
