It was truly a very BALANCE TRIP....I like!!!! After all the stress yet fruitful and rewarding business dealings I had in Hong Kong, I was also able to move around Hong Kong to SHOP...SHOP...SHOP...go to DISNEYLAND...and SHOP again...for more than a week!!!! hahaha! I had an AWESOME time!!!! :)

OFF 2 ANILAO,BATANGAS- OPEN DIVE TEST!

I'm now in the last stage to getting my DIVING lisence!!! I'm Excited!!After my pool and classroom sessions, tonight, I'm off to Anilao, Batangas together with my classmates and dive masters.

My Dive Master said, I'm soon to become a SWAN (hehe, not anymore an ugly duckling!hehe!)...

JUST GOT BK FR CEBU, BOHOL, HK & SUBIC

Oh oh...I just got back again from SUBIC...This time not for work, a little of vacation, but more of Church volunteering...had organized a KIDS KAMP 05 for Sunday Schoolers in our Church Children's Ministry, was tiring, but ALL WORTH-IT!!! :) Just hope everything bears fruit in the lives of these kids...

Had a GREAT time in my two weeks trip...It was something I will truly treasure...was able to go back to CEBU (I'm off to Cebu again in a couple of hours...yes 5AM flight, HAHA!) and stayed at the beautiful Mactan Shangri-La Resort and spent a relaxing, lobster time with a fellow VTer...then did a day trip to BOHOL to meet up with other VTers (Asianbelle, Moonlightning and Bohljakool)...and finally to cap up the vacation trip, was able to go back to HONG KONG and see the it the way a Hongkee sees it and I'm HAPPY...SIMPLY AMAZING...

When we think about travel, it's all about vacations..YEP should be, but sometimes it's also about work...BUT there's always time for SHOPPING and SITE SEEING!!!

WHY SHE TRAVELS: I usually go on trips abroad and local for work...having to faclitate and organize a plannign session and other events plus also to set-up offices in that certain country.

TRAVEL HUBS: 2004 Cebu was a regular trip, so was Hong Kong. 2005, looking at the US and Bohol not for work but for vacation.

TRAVEL FREQUENCY: It's like every other month I get to travel both locla and abroad. Its FUN (well after you've done all the work, time to relax a little and SHOP)

MUST-HAVE GADGET: A mobile phone so I can be assured that if I get lost, help is just a phone call away.

FAVE CARRY ON: My black Tommy Hilfiger bag...

PACKING STYLE: I'm a light packer. Since I know I'm going to come back home heavier anyway.

PACKING TIPS: I dont have a militant packing style. It try to be as neat as possible. I lay my clothes out flat. I stuff my shoes with socks to prevent them from being squashed and put them in shoe bags. I try to unpack and hang things up as soon as I get to my destination.

TERMINAL KILLER: I read my "book for the trip" or browse through the duty-free shops.

WHAT SHE WEARS ON THE PLANE: My favorites include cotton jerseys and jeans and flats/rubber or sneakers. You can keep through 12-hour flights and still look and feel fresh when you land. Then I just dress it up with a blazer/formal jacket upon landing.

FAVE HOTEL: I cna settle comfortably at any hotel even low budget. In HK I'd go for Marco Polo since I LOVE to take the Ferry going to the Office at Central and then shop when I get back. Arnoma is a good hotel in BKK and Shangri-La Hotels everywhere are GREAT!

FIRST THING SHE DOES AT THE HOTEL: Call my mom!!! HAHA!

JET LAG FIX: Drnking lots of liquids helps.

LATTE MOMENT: There is never enough time to shop, so I head for the nearest department store if there is a chance. You will always have good sampling of things. I usually shop after work, at night. If business trip ends on a Friday, I make it a point to stay the weekend. To rummage flea markets and check out the scenic spots and take picstures.

And I thank God that I was given the opportunity to do so from time to time due to my work. But for 2005 I plan to go on a vacation and travel on my own...started end of 2004 came from BANGKOK and just this year February I came from SINGAPORE and the tip of MALAYSIA (JB)...just last weekend came from HONG KONG.

Locally I visited parts of BOHOL and went back to CEBU (and going back there again next week, hehe)and this coming week to SUBIC again for the beach, Ocean Adventure, Zoobic and a Jungle Survival Crash course and perhaps this September will explore the very interesting place called CORON, PALAWAN with fellow VTers...

LET MY PASSION LEAD ME THERE...

FEB 7 VT Dinner at Seafood Club

FEBRUARY 7 (Monday), we had another gathering in Manila for Yen (i wonder where she is...??). We had a very good dinner at Seafood Club by Red Crab in Greenbelt 3 Makati and of course good company...It was my first time to meet Ken (Pinoytraveler) and boy, he has sooo many stories to share, we didnt have any dull moments while waiting for the rest fo the troops...then Aimees (moonlighting) and her hubby came so did Frankie (RedHorse) and Kristine (Xtinetotengco)...

1. ALAIN'S BACK...yes, in the arms of his Imelda (hehe)
2. PRE-VDAY gathering for VTers in Manila...but not even close to the LOVAH PALUZA Gimmick of Close-up...just pics and food!!!
3. BABY SHOWER for the couple!!!!

It was FUN meeting fellow VTers...finally in person...SEE YOU ALL AGAIN SOON...maybe for a VT Manila General Assembly??? hmmmm...why not???!!! HAHA...

BKK DECEMBER 2004 TRIP

Was in BKK from Dec 27th to the 31st...IT WAS ALL GOOD...but 4 days is not enough to totally enjoy the City...SHOP SHOP SHOP...plus of course touring beautiful places and discoverign their culture...I NEED TO GO BACK!!! hehehe...

VT Dinner in BKK was sooooo memorable...met cool people...had to play the game 'Where's Somboon' with campy...but FOOD was great...went to this very different place (hehehe) with 2 cool people...and capped the night with a very relaxing Thai Massage...
