I think LA may be one of those places that you either love or hate. From my first visit many, many years ago, I have been in love with LA. And actually if not for a turn of events in my life, I would have definitely moved to LA after school. Alas, it didn't work out that way.
I don't know what it is about LA that speaks to me - because although I am a city lover - it doesn't feel like a city. It kind of spreads all out.
On our last trip to LA, my husband and I had a blast. I am not ashamed to admit we did all the really "touristy" things and some really cool things as well.
So what is LA? It's part Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Sunset, Hollywood, and Santa Monica Boulevards, movie stars, Rodeo Drive, Venice Beach, beautiful weather, palm tree lined streets, and the rest, so much more, all rolled into one.
So go, have fun, immerse yourself in whatever is going on around you. You'll never run out of things to do and see!
