Visiting Tangier Island, Virginia is like going thru a time warp. This tiny Island has been continuously inhabited since the 1700's. Decendants of the families which originally settled this Isle still reside there. Primary source of income has always been fishing. Sadly this profession is becoming as endangered as the fish. |
