    • An unconventional place to see some real Chincoteague ponies...
    Behind the McDonalds. I know this sounds odd but the McDonalds on this little Island has some of the most beautiful views. On the one side is nothing but salt marsh and a view of the Lighthouse. Behind and to the other side are pony fields.

     When I was a little girl, "Misty of Chincoteague" was a favorite book. I'm sorry they are no longer wild. I've always thought of them running free out there someplace. Beautiful pages you have here.
