This being where I grew up I find it hard to give a negative reflection. This small industrial town, around 45,000 strong at last consensus, has produced some rather famous persons. Most people know Kilmarnock for it's valuable commodity Whisky, Johnnie Walker to be exact. Other's know it for the strong connections to the poet Robert Burns.
