The Limburg countryside near Germany

Bocholtz is a small village in the south eastern corner of Limburg near the Dutch-German border.

There original parish church of Bocholtz was built in 1697. When it became too small by 1869 they made plans for extensions and it was further renovated in the early 1950's.

If you head north-west from Aachen, you will notice that I have circled Bocholtz on the map.

Ahh, great - yes these little villages with the green farmland are so beautiful (sometimes I want to be a sheep and eat green grass - hihi)
