Fort William is the largest town in the Scottish Higlands now that Inverness has achieved City status. It the lies at the southern shores of Loch Linnhe and Loch Eil.

Fort William is close to Ben Nevis, which is the highest mountain in the British Isles.

    It looks like it is difficult to go wrong for beautiful scenery in rugged Scotland!

    I had to give up about three quarters of the way, it was not an easy climb for me. But the beautiful scenery can also be enjoyed from the valley.
