St Paul's Cathedral is the seat of the Bishop of London and the present building dates from the 17th century. The dome was inspired by St Peter's Basilica in Rome.
St Paul's was used for the marriage of Charles, Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer in 1981.

The Yeomen Warders of Her Majesty's Royal Palace and Fortress the Tower of London are known as the Beefeaters. They are ceremonial guardians of the Tower of London.
In principle they are responsible for looking after any prisoners at the Tower and safeguarding the British crown jewels but nowthey act as tour guides.
